We lost a football game tonight to a talented Osborne team. However there are some things more important than the scoreboard. These pictures of a freshman football player and his biggest fan say it all.

Our final player spotlight is Sophomore Diesel Payne. Diesel says "I chose my parents because they have always been with me during the highs and lows, they always push me to be the best me I can be and they always have my back no matter what, I couldn’t ask for anything better than them."

Sophomore Gage Brown talks about his person of inspiration. I chose to give my jersey to coach Nisly, because he is always very positive and encouraging before games and he makes sure I understand what I’m doing and if I do something wrong he makes sure I know what I did and how to fix it. On top of that he greets me almost every morning as I walk into school, and always has something goofy to say. Overall he is very inspiring and a great guy.

Freshman William McIver steps into the player spotlight to tell us about his inspirational person. Leo inspires me just by the great example he always sets, his positive attitude, and just by how well mannered he is. Leo is a great kid and motivates me to play hard

Sophomore Brodie Snodgrass is in the spotlight now. I picked my sister because she Is someone I can look up to. She’s really smart and funny, she is her own person and is super brave. She always tries her best to look out for me and I really appreciate her for doing so. I’ve known my sister for my whole life and she has always been there for me if I really needed it. She comes to my games as much as she can and I’m always happy to see her supporting me through whatever happens.

FALL FESTIVAL!
Next up we have Freshman Braeden Witt. I'm giving my jersey to my oldest brother Noah. He has always been there for me, he has taken me to multiple practices throughout peewee till now. He's been giving me advice and great pointers since I can remember.

Our next player spotlight is Freshman Dominic Sader. I chose my mom as the person who inspires me because, she always supports what I want to do even if she doesn’t agree with me. My mom has always been my number 1 supporter and goes to all my games that she can. She pushes me to do my best and try my hardest. That is why my mom is my inspiration.

Our final player spotlight for this evening is Senior Rex Zongker. I chose Ms. Fulk because she helped keep me on track during freshman year and has taught me how to have fun while getting a lot of work done at the same time.

The player spotlight is now on Senior Calen Wente. Mr. Chris Hewitt has been a person in my life that has shown me the vision of knowing what success looks like. He has made me understand to push myself the hardest when things aren't the best. The biggest thing I take from him is my work ethic, I'm not going to get any better if I don't make any changes. Whether it be the weight on the bar or how many more reps I do… to get something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done. He has always been there for me no matter the circumstance. He has made a big impact on me as a person, student, athlete and leader. Thank you Coach Hewitt.
