This is a reminder for all parents who pre registered their child/children for the Jackie Stiles basketball camp, the camp is TOMORROW! **Please note, we cannot take walk-in students, you must have pre-registered ahead of time.** Times are as follows: 2nd-6th grade boys and girls: 1-4 pm 7th-12th grade boys and girls: 4:30-7:30 pm We look forward to an exciting day with Jackie Stiles, the legend herself!

Beginning next week: Busy week this coming week for Falcon Football. Weights will be starting back up in the mornings and we will be having our Junior High and High School team camps Monday-Thursday from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. I encourage all 7th-12th graders who are interested in playing football this coming year to attend and see what Falcon Football is all about. On Friday, we will be having our 1st Annual Mom's Camp from 6:30pm - 8:00pm! This is an opportunity for the mom's of any of our JH/HS players to get a first hand look at the fundamentals, schemes, safety precautions, character development, and various other things that we are teaching and instilling into our players. I would encourage anyone that has questions or reservations about their child playing football to attend and see what Falcon Football is all about. As a reminder to everyone, next week (July 3-July 9th) is KSHSAA Moratorium Week, meaning there will be no school related activities on school campuses. During this time coaches shall be prohibited from engaging in any type of activity involving student athletes, whether it be practice, training, weightlifting, conditioning, competition, or travel. All member school athletic facilities will be closed to students during this periods. Activities will resume July 10th.

Starting Monday, July 3rd, our food service ladies will be traveling to the towns for the Summer Meal Program. Please the see attached calendar for the dates and times they will be in your area.

Don't forget the Fairfield Parent Organization Meeting on Friday, June 30th, in Arlington at the Community Center Park. We will be discussing events for next year, including the fall carnival.

We are thankful for Coach Alex Pankratz and his assistant coach Layne Pankratz, for working with our middle school basketball team this summer! Thanks goes out to everyone associated with this program: the boys, the parents, the fans, the coaches, and everyone else who supported the team. We are extremely proud of our Fairfield Middle School girls summer basketball team, coached by Montana Fry-Wente! They are currently undefeated and ranked #1 in their summer league in Sterling. Keep it up, girls!

Have you heard the great news? The Fairfield Parent Organization is bringing back the carnival this October in the format of a Fall Festival. See the flyer for more information, and stay tuned for more information or for opportunities to help!

All FHS girls basketball players and FHS football players: If you are planning on participating in those sports this year, you need to sign up to help work the fireworks stand in Arlington. We will be open June 30-July 4. To sign up please contact your coach. This is our fundraiser for the year and we need all players to participate. Thanks!

For the first time, Reno County schools are rallying as a team of educators for a shared professional learning day called All Hands on Deck. Over 1,100 teachers, Hutchinson Community College instructors, and administrators will be on HCC’s campus on January 3rd, 2024 for a day of workshops, keynote presentations, and networking opportunities. This will include USD #310 Fairfield instructors. An integral component of this day is connecting 1,100 area educators with vendors both inside and outside of education. Vendor options include being a part of our vendor showcase and/or leading presentations for attendees. Grades 6th-12th Summer Schedule: June 2023 Weights (open to boys and girls): Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 6:30am-7:30am & 7pm-8pm (evening times could change due to other scheduling conflicts due to sports) Opportunity to Improve evenings on Wednesdays 7pm-8pm (open to all JH/HS football players).
