
Fairfield Schools will have four school board member positions available. This is an elected position. If you would like to run, you must file with the Reno County Election Office by June 1st at noon.


HCTEA signing day is Thursday, May 4th at 9:00 am at the Hutchinson Career and Technical Education Academy for students who will be attending HCTEA during the 2023-2024 school year.


The FHS awards banquet will be held Tuesday, May 9 at 6:00 pm.

Today, two of our FHS students travelled to Hesston College to participate at the 1A state music festival. Pictured are Senior Zack Zongker, accompanist, Sharon Schwertfeger, and Junior Erin Schwertfeger. Erin received a II and Zack received I for their performances. Congratulations!


On Tuesday, May 2, FMS track travels to Claflin for the Central Plains Track Meet.

This past Saturday at State Powerlifting, FHS sophomore Estrella Sanchez finished as the State Champion in the Women's Power Weight Division and was also the State Champion in the Squat and Bench. In addition, Paisley Smyth finished 9th overall in the 123 class, while Garrett Lanning finished 11th overall in a tough 220 men's class. Congratulations Falcons!



Today's track meet at Haven has been canceled.

Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023, at 6 pm. Parents, grandparents, and all community members are invited to attend the powerful "Rachel's Challenge" program at Fairfield. Rachel's Challenge is an organization in the United States that works to reduce violence. We are so excited to host this program, made possible by a grant from the Hutchinson Community Foundation - Fund for Reno County.


On Friday, April 29, Stafford will host a track meet at Fairfield. Field events will begin at 3:00 pm.

FMS will host the middle school track meet on Thursday, April 29th. School will be released at 12:00. The track meet will begin at 1:00 pm.


WENTE & ZONGKER TAKE GOLD IN STERLING
The FHS Track Team competed in the 2023 Sterling Relays on April 21, 2023. The highlight of the day for the Falcons came in the Shot Put and Discus. Zack Zongker won the gold in the Shot, while Callen Wente took gold in the Discus. Also placing in Shot was Garrett Lanning, who took fifth. Others placing in Discus include Zack Zongker taking the silver medal and Karly Combs placing sixth. In the 100m Hurdles, Yesenia Espinosa placed sixth while Luella Gard placed sixth in the 300m Hurdles. The boys’ 4x100m Relay team, composed of Brodie Snodgrass, Ashtin Cochran, Azeke Cochran, and Mason Kalmar, took sixth place. Brodie Snodgrass also placed sixth in Long Jump, while Garrett Lanning placed fifth in Javelin.



FHS track travels to Haven on Tuesday, April 25. The high jump will begin at 4:00, all other field events will begin at 4:30.
