Reminder: The elementary is using sign up genius to schedule Parent Teacher conferences. If you have not signed up for a slot to meet with your child's teacher, please contact the elementary office at 620-596-2615 so that we can update your email addresses and send an invitation link to you. Fairfield Looks to Extend Daycare to Summer Fairfield USD#310 runs a KDHE licensed daycare in the modular on the north side of campus. We are currently speeding through the sixth year of this program. In the past we have only been open for the school year, but we are trying to gauge interest to see if we have enough interest to have a summer daycare program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school aged children. For this idea to be presented to the board, we need at least three more full-time spots to be filled. This is our “last call” going out if you would like to reserve a spot for a child for the upcoming summer. The hours are from 7:15 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and the costs are $125 per week, except for 18 months and under, which is $150. Please contact Director Crystal Bolin at cbolin@usd310.org or by calling 620-200-2166. If you are interested, we need to hear from you as soon as possible! We are especially looking for full-time spot applicants, but we are also considering a drop-in type of program as well.

Over the last month, the staff has been competing/participating in a school wellness challenge. We had over 30 staff members sign up and track their steps and physical activity over the course of a 3 week period. Congratulations to our 2 winners Kendra Nisly and Monica Rome. Both of them maxed out on points each day to tie for 1st place. Thank you to everyone that participated and congratulations to our winners!

Sub-State basketball games are set for this week. The boys will play Thursday @Central Christian Academy in Wichita and the girls will play Friday @Udall, both games will start at 7pm. We will be taking a pep bus to both games and covering admission for any 6th-12th grade students who ride the bus. Students who would like to ride the pep bus must be academically eligible and junior high students need to sign and return the parent permission slip to the office by Thursday. Please make arrangements for rides to get home once the bus returns to Fairfield as it will likely be after 10pm when we return both nights. Students will need to bring money for the concessions stand if they are wanting to eat. Finally, we are planning to have different themes for our student section each night and outfits need to be school appropriate. The themes for each night are shown in the picture below
