Order of Events for the FMS track meet at Burrton today:
The High School tennis team traveled to Chaparral this afternoon to compete. Though we were few in number, we made a lasting impression.
Kelly stepped up to play #2 singles and played her opponents tough. She was able to take her opponents to deuce on many occasions and even scored a point in her match up against a talented South Barber athlete.
Connor and Kevin started the day out slow with an 8-2 loss against Conway Springs, but rebounded mightily to take down South Barber 8-7 and Chaparral 8-3 to secure a 3rd place finish. The South Barber match was especially gratifying as this team had beaten Connor and Kevin twice before.
Calling all musicians! Come out April 27th at 5:00 P.M. and show off your skills in support of Ethan Beck's Senior Project. All proceeds from this event will go to the Guitar Center Music Foundation.
All girls currently in grades 8 to 11 wanting to play HS Summer League Basketball need to pick up a form in the HS office. All forms MUST BE turned in by Monday April 29 in order for the coaches to get a roster submitted! If we are late we do not get shirts. The cost is $85/player. Money is due to Coach Nisly by Friday May 10. We look forward to working with the girls this summer!

The district is accepting applications for our 2024-2025 PreK 3 and PreK 4 classes. If you have a child that turns 3 or 4 prior to September 1, 2024, you can apply for a spot by contacting the elementary office at 620-596-2615. Spots are limited for the program and acceptance letters to the program will go out in May.

The Tennis team travelled to Chaparral last Tuesday and faced some very tough competition.
Rex and Ethan played hard but came up short in singles play.
Kelly and Caity came together to play #2 Doubles and competed well against the other teams.
Connor and Kevin continued to show improvement as a team and came away with a 3rd place finish in #1 Doubles.
The Junior Class invites you to attend Promenade tonight at 7:00. Prom is being held at Hidden Valley Downs. Please see the attached invitation for the address. The venue is on someone’s personal property, so please be respectful as you come and go. We are asking all patrons to park in the yellow rectangular area on the attached map. Please do not park around the owner’s house.

Ms. Fulk and the FFA students have put in a lot of time and effort this year and this is an opportunity to show them your support and take in all that they have accomplished this year.
