USD #310 Fairfield Schools had an individual at our school test positive for Covid-19 today. Per our established protocol, we first contacted the Reno County Health Department with the names of the positive individual and their close contacts. Then those individuals were isolated until they could be picked up by their parents. The health department will provide specific quarantine details to parents.
We are thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting areas within our facility and on all buses. We are closely monitoring the situation and are following the Reno County Health Department quarantine procedure. We will notify you if any further action needs to be taken. We will post these updates on our Live Feed online, but not on Facebook. We also sent home notes today to all parents. Thank you for your cooperation.
DO YOU WANT TO WATCH FHS/FMS GAMES ONLINE FOR FREE?
For the 2021-2022 school year only, Fairfield USD #310 will provide 100 free family licenses to the NFHS Network so that people who can’t physically attend games can still view them online. This will be for FHS & FMS sports that are held at home on the football field or in the main (old) gym. This is being funded by grant money intended to help provide online school event coverage during the resurgence of the COVID virus. It will last for one school year only, and next year fans will most likely have to purchase their own licenses.
These passes will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, one per family. You will have your license code shared with you after you contact us. To get your name added to the list and to prepare for NFHS viewing, email Jessica Mathes at jmathes@usd310.org as soon as possible. These passes go first to families of USD #310 students. If we have additional passes, we will offer them to all faculty, staff, and community members as well.

If your student still needs school supplies, chances are we can help you out. Thanks to the Hutchinson Fire Department, we have a mountain of school supplies to share with any student who needs them. FMS football practice will begin on Monday, August 16. Practice will be held at Stafford. District transportation to and from practice will be provided. Any 7th and 8th grade boys wanting to play football will need to be at Fairfield at 2:30 on Monday and Tuesday. Please come dressed and ready for practice. Parents will need to pick up their child at Fairfield at 5:30 on Monday and Tuesday. Beginning Wednesday, August 18, activity bus routes will be available. Please be sure have your physical forms completed before the first day of practice!
Cross country practice will begin on Monday, August 16 at 7:00 am. Please make sure that you have a completed physical before practice. See you all on Monday!
High school football practice will begin on Monday, August 16 at 3:30 pm. Please make sure that your physical forms are turned in to the office before the start of practice! Students without physical forms completed will not be able to practice until the physical is complete! Please contact Coach Heath Hewitt with any questions!

All enrollment packets are due Friday the 13th at 12:00 pm. If enrollment packets are not turned in, those students will not be on the our bus routes. Face mask ARE required on district transportation!
