PLANS FOR NEXT WEEK: Since Reno county remains in the red zone, we will continue to remain cautious. At this point, next week will look very similar to this past week, with small cohort groups of students that do not mix during the day. Please continue to do what you can so that we can keep students and staff on campus!
October 23,2020
Fairfield Community,
We have been notified that an individual at Fairfield had a positive test for COVID-19. Our district has been in regular communication with the Reno County Health Department on this matter. Any persons who were considered a “close contact “ of the individual have been contacted and sent home to quarantine. If you have not been notified, you may assume your student was not affected.
Although notification to all families is not required, we feel sharing this information with our Fairfield family is important. Our priority is to keep our students and staff safe and healthy while providing an exceptional education. Please continue to wash your hands, wear a face mask , and practice social distancing. Thank you.
At this point our plans for next week will be similar to those of this past week, with students in small cohorts that do not mix. If there are any changes to that plan, we will notify you immediately.
Mrs. Wilson's 2nd grade class has been researching all about different types of storms this week in order to find out what makes them dangerous. Each group got to choose a storm to research, and also choose a way to present their information. Please enjoy these creative presentations of their learning!
