FMS basketball will play at Burrton on Thursday, December 10. Games will begin at 4:00:
4:00--JV girls
5:00-JV boys
6:00--Varsity girls
7:00--Varsity boys
KSHSAA voted yesterday that effective Thursday, December 10th, interscholastic activities will allow for attendance of up to two parents/guardians per participant(s) family, as allowed by local board of education or health department restrictions. These two spectators must be a parent or legal guardian and any other people are excluded, including siblings, grandparents, and other family members (unless they are legal guardians.) Also, no matter how many participants there are from one family, that family still only gets 2 parent spectators. This will be in effect for Fairfield basketball games and the Falcon Classic Tournament starting tomorrow, Thursday, December 10th. Masks are still required for attendance.

We were notified today that an individual at our elementary school was positive for COVID-19. Per our established protocol, we are following the regulations and guidelines of the Reno County Health Department. Students and/or adults considered to be a close contact of the positive person have already been notified by the district and will later be contacted the the health department as well. We have thoroughly deep cleaned and disinfected areas within the school facility. The district is closely monitoring this situation and will notify families if any additional action needs to be taken. Thank you for your cooperation.
