We have been notified of an individual who was at school Friday and started showing symptoms of COVID late Saturday night. We have contacted the parents and adults that are close contacts, and we are working closely with the Reno County Health Department. If you have not been contacted, it means your child is not considered a close contact of the positive individual. However, it is always important to monitor for symptoms, which may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
