Tonight's basketball games will start earlier than previously scheduled; they have been changed due to potential weather concerns. The first game, featuring Burrton vs. Wichita Independent, will begin at 4:45 pm instead of 6:00 pm. The second game with Fairfield vs. Stafford will follow the first game, with a probable start time at 6:15 pm (instead of 7:30 pm.)

Opening round action of the Lady Falcon Invitational had Central Christian Academy winning against the Reno County Sabres 44 to 30. For the second game, Canton-Galva defeated Goessel 53-32
FMS basketball travels to Stafford on Thursday, January 26. Order of play will be:

5pm B team boys
6pm A team girls (will begin after the B team games)

Fairfield wrestlers competed at Nickerson yesterday. Lukas Schwab placed 6th. Lane Schwab placed 7th. Dylan Metzger placed 8th. Sierra Lanning placed 1st on the girls side. Kyle Haskins did not competed due to injury and Bryson Blundell did not compete as he was performing with the honor band in Manhattan.
The boys’ tournament games at Burrton today have been canceled and will be rescheduled for this coming Wednesday.
The FMS varsity boys lost to Cunningham.
The FMS Varsity girls lost to Cunningham 11-23.
The FMS “B Team” girls won over Cunningham while the FMS B & C team boys lost.
