By request of KSDE, Fairfield Schools will be closed this week (3/16-3/20) and also remain closed the following week for our regularly scheduled Spring Break. This is being done statewide as an effort to stem the spread of COVID-19. Please try over the next two weeks to avoid being in large groups of people. The District Office will remain open, and custodial staff will report to do a deep cleaning. We are currently working on a plan to deliver food to students in each community and once that is finalized, we will make an another all-call. Teachers will not be on campus, nor will any other employee unless they are custodial or food service. No USD #310 buses will run. Thank you for your support and patience. This is unchartered territory for all of us, but we will make it through.

This is information regarding our plan at Fairfield to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. This information is current as of today, March 13th, 2020, but is subject to change if the CDC, KDHE, KSDE, and Reno County Health Departments advise otherwise. It is important that we all stay calm, wash our hands, and do what can to stop the spread of this virus.

The following events are cancelled for next week at USD 310: FHS Forensics Tournament (3/14); Farm2U FFA Field Trip (3/16); Parent Teacher Conferences (3/17 & 3/18); and the Vo-Tech Tour for (3/17.) Parents are encouraged to contact their child's teachers to arrange conferences via telephone, internet, or email. These changes are in response to CDC, KDHE, and KSDE guidelines for schools to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Sorry for any inconvenience.
