WALK FOR FOSTER CARE!
On Friday night, November 20, Glenn Koster will start his 24-hour, 63 mile WALK FOR FOSTER CARE on Fairfield's new track at 6:00 pm. Glenn is doing this to raise awareness and funds for local foster care efforts in Reno County. For information about this event or to learn how to help donate to the cause, please check out the attached flyer.

We had another individual at Fairfield test positive for Covid-19. All people in close contact with the individual have already been notified that they will need to quarantine immediately. A letter will be coming home with your children today with more information. We continue to work closely with the Reno County Health Department to guide us through these situations. The Red Cross Blood Drive that was scheduled for Wednesday, November 18th has been canceled due to illness.

FMS basketball will tip off the season against Attica at Fairfield on Tuesday. The order of play will be:
4:00--B team girls
5:00--B team boys
6:00--A team girls
7:00--A team boys
Masks will be required to be worn by all in attendance. If those in attendance refuse to comply with the mask requirement, the games can be called. Tickets will be required for entry. Athletes in 6th and 7th grade will be given 3 tickets and 8th graders will receive 4 tickets. Students will receive tickets at practice today.
Concessions will be available. Livestreaming information will be made available on Tuesday.
For our basketball season (FMS and FHS) each athlete will be given 3 tickets to give to their guests. If they are an eighth grader or a senior, they will get 4 tickets to distribute. You or your children may not attend a game without a ticket from an athlete. The tickets will be given out today to FMS athletes since their first home game is tomorrow at 4 pm. Please remember to keep your mask on and keep our students/guests safe.

Friday, 10/13/20 Situation Update:
We remain in the Red Zone at Fairfield Schools, with a Reno County count of 643 new, active cases in the past 14 days (non-prisoners) and a Positive Test Rate of 37.8 %. Next week we will continue in our small cohort classes and keep students from mixing together. Please do everything you can to help us stop the spread of this virus, and if your child is sick, please keep them at home. Thanks!
