Fairfield Schools wants to provide food and nutrition to our students even during this time while school is closed, so we’re announcing a new program that will deliver meals at your doorstep for free. This program is called Meals-to-You, and it is a partnership between our district, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and Baylor University. Your student(s) enrolled at Fairfield Schools are eligible to participate in the program. If you have questions please email Amy Riggs at ariggs@usd310.org. Please note that enrollment starts 5/6/2020. Please see the attached flyers for more information.

Today’s food delivery was a smashing success. Thanks to all the volunteers that helped distribute the food to our district families. Also, thanks to the organizations that helped provide the food: Reno County Food Bank, United Way of Reno County, and Reno County Area Transit.

Reno County Press Release: As of noon today (4/26/20) there are 27 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Reno County. This is according to the Reno County Health Department press release.
This Wednesday (4/29/2020) during the regular food routes for Fairfield student meals, we will also be able to deliver some groceries to our families. As a reminder, the meal delivery is at the following location and times: Langdon City Office & Plevna School (11 am); Arlington Community Center and Sylvia Park (11:20 am); Arlington Methodist Church (11:35 am); Turon Park (11:45 am); and Abbyville Park (12:00 pm).Thank you to the following groups for your part in this effort: Reno County Food Bank, United Way, and Reno County Area Transit. Thank you to the following volunteers for helping sort/pack groceries: Janet Barlow, Rachel Barlow, Lou Ann Buckwalter, Scott Flaming, Betsy McKinney, Missy Salazar, Mike Treat, and Darrin SanRomani.
