The question has been posed, "WHAT ABOUT SCHOOL THIS FALL?" The answer is that Fairfield is set to open on August 19th for our official first day of school, and we are working hard to make sure our campus and practices are as safe as possible. Working alongside of us are the following groups: Reno County Health Department, Kansas Department of Health & Environment, Kansas State Department of Education, Kansas State High School Activities Association, Reno County Superintendent's Council, and the Center for Disease Control. As the plan develops, we will share more with all you. Thanks for your continued support of our district!

There are still plenty of days available students can sign up to help with food packaging and delivery! Students, use this link to sign up for any open days. Remember, only one helper per day. If you use this form to sign up and you help on your assigned day, you do NOT have to fill out a community service form! Bonus! https://tinyurl.com/ybkyywuy

Congratulations to our FFA students Paisley Smyth and Serena Chantra. Serena was third overall in the state in Employability Skills where she was judged on job interview skills and resume writing. Paisley was sixth in Creed Speaking; she recited the FFA creed and shared her understanding of the creed by answering questions. Congratulations to these students and also others who participated, along with their sponsor Mary Beth Fulk.

For Fairfield High School students - if you don't have any community service hours yet, we have an opportunity for you! Each weekday at 8:00 am, Fairfield cafeteria packs up food for families in the district and delivers to area towns for pickup. If interested in helping, each day earns about 5 hours of community service. Students should check their email for details and a link to a signup sheet. All Fairfield students need 20 hours of community service before graduation so this is a golden opportunity to earn hours and do some good!
