The FHS vs South Barber basketball games at South Barber have been rescheduled for Monday, February 22. Games will begin at 5:00 with varsity girls followed by varsity boys. No JV games will be played.
FHS basketball will face Norwich on Friday, February 19th. The schedule of play will be:
4:00--JV girls
5:15--JV boys
6:30--Varsity girls
8:00--Varsity boys
Homecoming ceremonies will be held during halftime of the varsity boys game.
4 spectators per participant are allowed. Masks required and social distancing in recommended.
FHS boys basketball will have practice today at 3:30.
FMS boys basketball will have practice on Wednesday from 1:30-4:00 for those who are able to attend. They will play at 6:30 on Thursday at Cunningham!
Tomorrow (Wednesday, February 16th) will be a REMOTE LEARNING day for Fairfield students. This is at the recommendation of our local power company, who said there will likely be blackouts (power outages)in our district tomorrow. In order to keep our students safe, we have extended to one more day of remote learning on Wednesday. We hope to see everyone back at school on Thursday! If your student is experiencing problems with remote learning, first try contacting their teacher(s) via email. You can also call the school at 620-596-2152.
Fairfield USD 310 will have a remote learning day again on Tuesday, February 16 due to the dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills. Lunches will be available for pick up at the school from 10:30-12:00. Please come to the kitchen door on the south side of the building and ring the doorbell. No need to order meals in advance. The FHS basketball games at South Barber have been postponed. There will not be any basketball practice today or Tuesday. Stay safe and stay warm!
The middle school wrestling tournament scheduled for Monday, February 15 has been cancelled. There will be no wrestling practice on Monday as well.
Here is a quick reminder that Monday, February 15th, is a remote learning day. We will make a decision about Tuesday on Monday afternoon, once we see updates on projected temperatures.
