***Here is information on VACCINE PRE-REGISTRATION AND COMMUNITY DISTRIBUTION FOR AGES 65+ from the Reno County Health Department as of 1-26-21.
The Reno County Health Department has announced a new online pre-registration site for the COVID-19 vaccine. Those who fall under the current phase of vaccination may pre-register and will be notified when an appointment is available. Reno County is currently in Phase 2 and serving ages 65 and over. Please note this is NOT an appointment system. Registrants will be entered into the system and contacted by the Health Department to schedule their appointment. Those 65 and over may pre-register now at www.renogov.org. If computer access is not available, please call the Reno County Health Department at 844-834-3657 and leave a message. A staff member will return your call. Please be patient as there is currently a very limited supply of vaccine.
The first public vaccine distribution site is scheduled for Friday, January 29th at the Hutchinson Sports Arena, 700 East 11th. The Reno County Health Department will be administering the Moderna vaccine by appointment only from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. No walk-ins will be accepted. If you need assistance getting to the vaccination clinic and returning home, please contact RCAT at 620-694-2913.
