Senior Lucy Steen, Juniors Kora Zongker and Gavin Foster, and Sophomore Stormie Schlumbohm got 2nd place at their regional tournament and got to go to state on Saturday, February 14th in Lincoln, KS.
The competition at state is fierce, but our small team (most teams had 6 competitors) worked hard and beat the team that ended up in 2nd place (Jetmore/Hodgeman Co). That was the only round that we won, so we did not make it to finals.
Coach Julie Steen is proud of the team for making it to state. We'll plan to be there again next year!
