Marissa Pugh Preparing to Throw Javelin


The FHS Track team opened their season at Remington High School on April 4, 2023. The girls’ team came away placing third overall while the boys were fourth place. Bringing  home gold medals in their individual events were Marissa Pugh and Zack Zongker. Relay team members winning a gold medal include Jarod Bauman, Ashtin Cochran, Mason Kalmar, and Rex Zongker.

1600m Run - Mikayla Pugh (5th place)

100m Hurdles - Centhiyah Bankston (6th place)

300m Hurdles - Yesenia Espinosa (6th place)

4x100m Relay (3rd place) - Rylee Haskins, Marissa Pugh, Centhiyah Bankston, Abigail Lofton

4x400m Relay (2nd place) - Erin Schwertfeger, Mikayla Pugh, Centhiyah Bankston, Luella Gard

High Jump (tied for 6th place)  - Ami Foster, Luella Gard

Long Jump - Centhiyah Bankston (6th place)

Shot Put - Karly Combs (2nd place)

Discus - Fallon Brown (2nd place); Karly Combs (3rd place)

Javelin - Marissa Pugh (1st place);  Fallon Brown (3rd place)

Boys

800m Run - Mason Kalmar (6th place)

4x100m Relay (3rd place) - Brodie Snodgrass, Ashtin Cochran, Mason Kalmar, Gage Brown

4x400m Relay (2nd place) - Ashtin Cochran, Azeke Cochran, Mason Kalmar, Brodie Snodgrass

4800m Relay (1st place) - Jarod Bauman, Ashtin Cochran, Mason Kalmar, and Rex Zongker

Long Jump - Brodie Snodgrass (3rd place)

Shot Put - Zack Zongker (1st place); Calen Wente (3rd place); Garrett Lanning (6th place)

Discus - Zack Zongker (1st place); Calen Wente (2nd place)

Javelin - Garrett Lanning (3rd place); Rex Zongker (5th place); Taylor Mathes (6th place)
