Chris Feulner, a Junior at Fairfield High School, is gathering some real world experience in the data networking field. Under the supervision of Technology Director Mr. Flaming, Chris (shown here) is installing a new data patch panel. He is punching down new CAT 6 cables that connect an existing data closet at FHS to the new Fairfield Cafeteria, providing phones, WiFi, and data connections for various tech devices in that area. Mr. Flaming is also working with junior Connor Witt in technology related training. The program has become a win-win situation for Fairfield because the students are providing a valuable service while at the same time learning skills that will help them in future career choices.
